Five step: braided bun

Having fairly long hair can be annoying and hard to deal with. I personally love having my hair down but sometimes it is more than marginally frustrating, especially with it being curly. It’s times like these when a bun becomes my best friend, but us gallies like a little spice too, right? My spice is just to have it braided.
  1. Brush your hair. You've got to make sure that it is free from any major knots. Otherwise, it can be very hard to plait in the next stage.
  2. Tie your hair up. Put it in a ponytail and do it has high as you wish, depending on where you want the bun to be- it's all about what you feel comfortable with.
  3. Plait your hair. Half the hair and then make it into separate plaits. Once you do that pull the hair out a bit so they become thicker.
  4. Pin it up. Get one of your plaits and wrap it around the ponytail that you created- sort of around the crown area where your hair band is. Do this for the second one as well. Make sure you pin it in making sure the ends of the plaits don’t stick out.
  5. Spray it. Add some hairspray to make sure your do stays up during the day but don't drown yourself in it. We wouldn't want you to go up in flames.
