Five step: lazy day make-up

Every girl has them: those lazy days where make up just seems like too much effort. Well, I have a solution. A 5 step simple make up routine perfect for those lazy days – or even when you are running late for school and need a five minute make up solution. Listen up girls, this is probably perfect for many of us lazy birds waking up a bit too late tomorrow.

REMEMBER: Even though you want something quick, slap a bit of moisturiser on before any make-up is applied at all.
  1. Use your favourite foundation and squirt a small amount on the back of your hand. Now, with your fingertips, rub it in all over your face making sure it’s blended. If you have a few blemishes then add a touch more over them to hide them.
  2. Use concealer on your blemishes and under your eyes to hide those pesky dark circles and spots. After concealing remember to powder your face, that will set the make-up making it last.
  3. Line your eyes, I use a felt tip liner – which honestly doesn’t budge throughout the whole day - and only line my top lash line. I wing it out a little bit at the edge as I like the effect, but you obviously don’t need to do this.
  4. Now for an instrument that looks torturous but actually works wonders. Curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler (funny that, isn’t it?) and then use your favourite mascara to set the curl and add definition to your lashes.
  5. Use a bright lip-gloss to add a ‘pop’ of colour and bring your whole ‘Lazy day’ make up look to a close. The bright-ish lip gives the illusion of effort and using a lip-gloss means you don’t have to worry about lip liners or getting your lipstick ‘just perfect’.

I hope this will be helpful to you and never be ashamed of having a ‘lazy day’ everyone has them just create the illusion of care!
