REALLY easy chocolate brownies

“There is nothing Brownies can’t fix,” these are not my words, but the words uttered by my mother after a depressing day at college- post results last week. I love my mother as she was 100% right, these fabulous chocolaty pieces of goodness not only taste amazing, but are super easy to make.

·         150g butter
·         300g sugar
·         200g chocolate
·         3 eggs
·         100g self-raising flour

1.       Pre-heat the oven to Gas Mark 4.
2.       Melt the sugar, butter and chocolate into a pan over the heat; keep stirring it so the bottom doesn’t burn.
3.       Take off the heat and mix in the eggs and the flour.
4.       Pour into a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper
5.       Bung into the oven for 20-25mins until a knife comes out clean when stuck into the middle.
6.       Leave to cool and chop up into bite size pieces, perfect for sharing.
TIP: For extra chocolate goodness chop up some chunks of white chocolate and sprinkle into the mixture before putting into the oven.

And yes this recipe has 6 steps and that is ALL. So perfectly simple and wonderful and my friends all enjoyed them as well.
